Defects and other observations

During the test drive, we observed the following:

  • Apparently a faulty injector has caused damage.

    Borescoped, cyl. 6 wet

    Blow-by tested, cyl. 6, OK

    Compression tested cyl. 5 and 6

    Cyl. 5 28 bar, cyl. 6 21 bar

    Measured piston heights, cylinder 6 piston 2.4 mm lower.

    Engine damage in the car. Connecting rod bent.

  • A short test drive was still carried out like this, and you can listen to the engine sound in the video. Apparently due to the faulty injector, the car hesitated under driving and emitted smoke. Collection by driving is not recommended to avoid further damage. Engine oily/diesel contaminated.
