This is a 2005 Transporter 1.9 TDI with a 105 hp diesel engine, 5-speed manual gearbox and space for up to nine passengers.
The odometer shows about 415,000 km. At the inspection on 23/07/2026, the recorded mileage was 411,837 km.
⚠️ NOTE! The car does not currently start and must be collected by towing.
With jump-start power, the electrics come on, but when starting, the starter only clicks. The battery is considered to be in very poor condition and there is also suspected fault in the starter motor.

⚠️ Faults noted at the inspection on 23/07/2026
The car has been failed at the periodic inspection. The following actual grounds for rejection were noted:
There is rust damage in the left sill box section.
The left track rod end has play.
There is play in the rear bush/bearing of the left front lower control arm.
There is play in the bush/bearing of the right front lower control arm.
In addition, the following repair advisories were given at inspection:
The rear number plate light does not work.
A front light does not work.
The left front door lock is faulty.
According to the inspection certificate, the car has been failed, and the faults must be repaired before a reinspection. The inspection certificate states the reinspection deadline as 24/08/2026.
🔧 Other known faults and shortcomings
In addition to the faults found at inspection, the following has been noted on the car:
🚪 Doors and locking
The driver’s door does not open.
The locks do not work normally.
The driver’s window cannot be opened.
The front passenger window can only be opened from its own switch.
The sliding door moves poorly.
🔋 Starting
The battery is in very poor condition / practically flat.
With jump-start power, the electrics come on, but the car does not start.
When starting, only a click is heard, so fault in the starter motor is also suspected.
The car is not currently roadworthy and collection must be arranged by towing or other transport.
❄️ Air conditioning and heating
The air conditioning does not cool.
The air conditioning fan speed control does not work.
The passenger compartment air conditioning does not work at all.
The Webasto is not known to work, and there is no remote control for it.
💡 Other electrical faults
No power reaches the number plate lights.
One front light does not work, as already noted in inspection.
The rear window wiper does not work.
🔧 Chassis and body
In addition to the loose suspension components noted at inspection, the car has further chassis-related repair needs.
The car has a fair amount of rust, including the rust damage in the left sill box section noted at inspection.
