As you can see from the pictures, the car looks very nice and is in reasonable condition.
The service book is complete from start to finish, and for example: the timing system has been done twice, the injector sealing washers have been replaced, and the valve cover gasket has been replaced. See the pictures!
This could be a sensible car for someone handy after repairs.
The car was with us in transit when it lost power. The car stalled and was taken straight to SAH for diagnosis.
The first cylinder is not building compression. It has been checked that the issue is not a stuck injector or hydro-lock, but it seems the engine needs to be opened and the piston in the first cylinder replaced and honed.
Personally, I would look for a replacement engine from a breaker and swap it in, as that would probably be the cheapest solution!

The car drives well, and during the trade-in we did not notice any clunks or similar in the suspension. However, during transport the car stalled and compression in the first cylinder is not rising. The engine at least partly needs to be disassembled and inspected. A replacement engine is probably the best option.
