Timing belt serviced about 10,000 km ago (10/2025) and the car was inspected in February. The engine pulls well, the automatic transmission works as it should, and the smooth running of the D5 says a lot about the quality of the engineering. These engines are praised for good reason; when properly maintained, they last a very long time. This is one of Volvo’s best engines from these model years.
