The car has done 291,395 km and that means its worst shyness is already gone and the engine is nicely run in. Overall the car looks purposeful and presentable for its age, but it is not a porcelain doll kept in a glass cabinet – there is patina and signs of use, as there should be. They simply prove the car has done what it was built for. Overall it is a tidy and well‑proportioned example for its age. A supplementary light panel has been fitted to the front, so autumn darkness and winter sleet are just minor hindrances!

Interior: Dark cloth upholstery is in good condition for its age. The dashboard and trims have remained in good condition. DOES NOT smell of tobacco or wet dog.

Tyres: Fitted with summer tyres in good condition and studded tyres in good condition for winter!

Mechanics and test drive: Honda’s reputation hasn’t arisen by chance – it starts and runs in all conditions. The car is easy to manoeuvre in town but also stable on the open road. The engine has its pull, the gearbox selects gears smoothly and the brakes still bite. It runs straight without notable vibrations or knocks.
