Offered from a customer trade-in: a Volvo S40 T5 that delivers satisfying performance and comprehensive equipment.

The car has been sensibly serviced over the years, and the service history is well documented (see pictures). Last year the starter motor and battery were renewed.

Notable points:

There has been a slight oil seepage around the gearbox area for some time. According to the previous owner the leak has not affected drivability.
The valve cover gasket is seeping a little oil. The recommended service is to replace the gasket at the next timing belt service.
Occasionally the engine may enter limp mode during heavier acceleration, in which case the turbo does not operate normally and power drops. The problem clears after restarting the car. The fault has been investigated at a workshop before, but no definite cause was found.

On a test drive the car otherwise felt functional and delivered the characteristic strong performance of the T5 engine.
