Nice, rust-free and low-mileage Epsom Green P38 4.6 Vogue, recently passed inspection with only minor notes.


I imported the car from the United Kingdom a year ago; it has done about 7,000 km this year. The body and mechanically the car is in very good condition, no rust. Age shows in a couple of spots on the paint where the clearcoat has "burned" off, but this cosmetic issue is on the front edge of the roof so it is not immediately noticeable. Fitted with friction winter tyres.


During my ownership small issues have been taken care of: rear brake pads, new thermostat, one ignition coil, spark plug leads and central locking.

Oils and filters were changed last autumn; oils were also changed in the driveline.


The engine runs smoothly, does not consume oil or lose fluids. The transmission also works well; low-range engages normally.

The air suspension has been replaced with durable coil springs.


There are still a few things to sort if you want to tinker: the cruise control and air conditioning need attention. That said, it drives well as is and the sunroof helps with cooling.


I believe I’m not exaggerating when I call this one of the finest P38 examples in Finland. Epsom Green with cream leather and green piping is a really nice colour combo.


If driving a RHD car worries you, come and try it—there is nothing unusual about it. The biggest risk on a test drive is that you’ll want to buy it.
