Arctic Hot Tub! No more warmed drinks in the water

Who wants to sip warmed drinks in the tub? Nobody! That’s why our designers have built integrated ledges with drink holders into the Arctic Hot Tub. The ledge isn’t just a waiting lounge for beers, ciders, soft drinks or cocktails — you can also place candles and lanterns on it. It works well for children’s tub play, too: between dives you can put goggles and pool toys on the ledge. Its versatility is only limited by imagination. The drink holes can even hold earrings or a smartwatch if you’re unsure about water resistance. And while you shouldn’t watch the clock while bathing, it’s handy to glance at a phone resting on the ledge. Eight drink recesses are enough for a larger bathing group.

Innovative design – square‑oval shape

We combined two attractive shapes and created the square‑oval Arctic Hot Tub. The shape is both practical and beautiful. It allows the ledges and gives a fresh take on the traditional round hot tub. The Arctic Hot Tub suits Finnish uprightness and straight backs, though the edges are rounded so no one needs to tense up. Even though the name is Arctic, we still recommend warming the water before stepping in.

Easy‑use, versatile Step In stair

You wouldn’t think one plastic step could do so much, but it does. We designed the Step In stair to make entering the tub easier. It helps when getting out, doubles as a seat for a small child so their head won’t sink, and works as a handy armrest — making the Arctic Hot Tub a comfortable water‑armchair. The Step In solution makes the tub suitable for all ages and aids bathing for people with reduced mobility. After harsh Finnish winters, tired limbs are easier to lower into warm water thanks to the Step In step.

Which colour will you choose?

Our relaxed approach shows in the tub selection. We offer hot tubs for every need and taste. The Arctic Hot Tub can be customised: choose the plastic shell colour from five options and decide the Step In placement relative to the heater. You can also choose the outer cladding material from three options and pick the cover colour in black or grey. The shell colours are nature‑inspired, including sea blue and lichen grey. All shades work well together.

Arctic conditions – effective insulation

To live up to its Arctic name, we wrap the tub in proper insulation! Under the plastic shell there is 44 cm of EPS insulation that keeps frost at bay and the bathing water warm even in colder winter weather. We also add plenty of thermal plastic to the sides so the rims are insulated. This high‑efficiency hot tub retains heat so well that a well‑closed Arctic Hot Tub stays warm the next day. For the coldest users one extra fireload is recommended for the next day, but the tub is quickly ready for use the following day. Put wood in the heater, change gear, clean and prepare drinks — then enjoy your bath.

Gentle heat efficiently

Our powerful marine‑aluminium Arctic heater warms the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kW marine‑grade aluminium heater is durable and conducts heat well. It has a pretty glass door so the wood‑fired tub gives a beautiful glow without opening the door to check the fire.

Our marine‑aluminium heaters are made in Finland and included in the hot tub package. The powerful heater tolerates both fresh and seawater. Careful material choices make this heater a top product. The heater package includes a 2 m chimney pipe and a rain cap, and if you want more pipe, a spark guard or additional accessories, see the extras list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium because chlorine oxidises aluminium. We recommend changing water regularly and using active‑oxygen tablets (see extras). Active oxygen treats the water for about 24 hours and then the water can be used for watering plants as it contains no extra chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated water easily forms a slimy film on the tub rim, but active oxygen prevents this.

Carefree plastic shell

The uniquely shaped, ergonomically designed tub section of the Arctic Hot Tub is rotationally moulded from Jaxal‑grade polyethylene. This plastic has memory: it holds the shape it was moulded into. The low‑maintenance, durable plastic shell stands up to time well, which is why we offer a ten‑year warranty.

Because there are no moulded seams, dirt does not collect in specific spots. Remember to clean the surfaces when you change the water. This is easy with ordinary cleaners. Fastidious users may disinfect the tub occasionally, but please handle wastewater correctly.
