Sunpro Topcon 210R Bi-facial 500 W solar panel

TOPCon 210R Bi-facial series panels are manufactured by Tier-1 listed producer Sunpro Power. The panel is based on a TOPCon cell structure and bi-facial technology.

Bi-facial capability provides extra yield as the panel also collects energy from its rear side. In addition to direct front-face irradiation the panel uses diffuse light and reflected light (for example from snow or light surfaces), which increases overall output depending on installation conditions.

The N-type monocrystalline cell is made from a single silicon crystal, allowing electrons to move more evenly and efficiently. The structure also copes better with heat and power degradation is slower compared with conventional cells. The panel's Pmax temperature coefficient of -0.30 % / °C limits production loss at higher temperatures.

The glass–glass construction and 5400 Pa front-side load rating make it suitable for northern snow and wind loads. A 1500 V system voltage allows longer panel strings and larger installations. The IP68-rated junction box keeps the panel protected in all weather and 3 bypass diodes improve performance in partial shade.
