Diagnosed with VAG the following:

Transmission:

- Fault code P177C: clutch 2 tolerance limit reached.

- Flywheel makes noise.

- Mechatronic pressure 60 bar → 42 bar in 10 s

- Clutch slips.

- No clear bearing noise heard during road test.

- No bearing noise heard on the lift

- MTF oil shows no metal and is a good colour.

- I do not see reason to dismantle the gearbox unless a selector fault is found

- Mechatronics not removed per workshop management decision.

- Seepage at the engine/gearbox joint, likely a small clutch-shaft seal.

PLAN:
Replacement of clutch, mechatronics and flywheel required.
