Observed faults and deficiencies:

  • Several corrosion damages on the body (see pictures).

  • Engine warning light is on.

  • Fault code: P0016 – Crankshaft and camshaft position correlation, Bank 1 Sensor A.

  • According to a diagnosis by Mekonomen workshop, replacement of at least the AdBlue injector and AdBlue line is required.

  • There is an unusual noise from the timing area. The workshop recommends replacing the timing belt and water pump.


Notes

The engine starts and runs. A quick inspection does not suggest engine damage. Also the DSG gearbox, four-wheel drive system and other technical components appeared to operate normally during a test drive.

The car is sold as seen. The buyer should expect repair and refurbishment work before putting the car into regular use.

Defects and other observations

Some corrosion damage to the body (see pictures). Engine warning light is on. Fault code P0016: crankshaft position/camshaft position correlation, Bank 1 Sensor A. According to Mekonomen workshop diagnosis at least the AdBlue injector and AdBlue line need replacing. Also an "odd" noise from the timing area; recommended to replace the timing belt and water pump. The engine runs and a quick check does not indicate damage. Gearbox and other systems seemed to function.
