From daily use to auction. A handy runabout, although not the prettiest cosmetically anymore!

Small points to note: The dash displays (speed display and radio display) have very dim lights and are hard to read in sunlight. The body shows signs of use. Headlamp lenses are cloudy. Some bumper fastenings are loose at the front and rear. Beginning rust at the windscreen/roof junction (does not affect driving or the MOT).

A knocking noise is heard at the front over bumps. The gearbox slips a little, but that seems to be a trait of the automatics in this model. If you press the accelerator only lightly at low revs, the car stutters slightly. Otherwise it accelerates and cruises nicely at steady throttle without problems!

2x good tyres on their own rims: summer tyres with about 5–6 mm tread and winter studded tyres with studs intact and 6–7 mm tread.

A very handy, affordable everyday car. For the next MOT it will likely only need the front-end play sorted (dog bones?).

  • The front knocks over bumps. The gearbox hesitates when changing, with about a 1-second delay. When pressing only very slightly (about 1–3%) throttle the car stutters/jerks slightly.
