Selling a neat Golf for repair.


An engine rebuild was carried out after the VVT pulley failed; during this work the OEM cam sprockets, timing head assembly, water pump and upper seals were renewed, and a full service performed (plugs, all filters, oils and fluids). Piston rings and conrod bearings and bolts were also replaced.


Runs nicely but shows fault code P001100. Drivable, but in fault mode it will not rev above 3,000 rpm. After clearing the fault codes it runs normally for about 5–10 minutes.


Two good sets of tyres, two keys. A couple of hub caps are missing.
