The car is spacious, stable and pleasant to drive, with good equipment.

The interior is very tidy for its age. No tears or other unusual wear.

Not all praise — a few drawbacks for a car of this age:

The body shows some age-related issues. There are rust spots on the sills. The previous owner did some rust repairs on the driver’s side and door threshold areas, but rust is starting to push through in places. I tried to photograph these areas as well as possible.

An air-conditioning service may also be due — it blows cold a little weakly.

When cold the engine sometimes idles unevenly for a short while. After running for a moment it behaves normally, and when warm it runs very nicely with power intact. Injector correction values were checked at a local workshop and were reportedly OK. Possibly some carbon build-up in the engine and it just needs some harder driving :-D

This is a very good and economical everyday car as it stands, and with a bit of rust work it will be top-class.
