Defects and other observations

Before listing the car for sale we carried out a test drive and condition assessment, during which we made the following observations:

  • Workshop diagnosis: Fault code P2191 appears at intervals. When pressing the accelerator from idle the engine briefly runs on three cylinders. Spark plugs removed; the No.3 cylinder plug is coked. Cylinders inspected with a videoscope; oil in the No.3 cylinder. Probably a seized oil ring.

  • The listing includes photos of the No.3 cylinder with oil and the No.2 cylinder which is fine.

  • No warning lights are currently on and the car has been driven from the workshop to our premises. The workshop advises against driving it.
