Defects and other observations

Before listing the car for sale we performed a test drive and condition assessment, during which we made the following observations:


  • The air conditioning does not work (the ventilated seats also do not work).

  • Engine fault light on (codes read: glow plug, cylinder 7).

  • ABS/EBS lights come on intermittently (codes suggest a gearbox fault; after clearing codes the gearbox has operated normally; previously it failed to upshift).

  • The air suspension does not respond.

  • There is significant damage to the bonnet.

  • Park assist does not work.

  • Tyre pressure sensors are faulty.

  • The car has many features and not all have been tested. These issues were noted during the test drive / inspection.
