For sale: a very well‑preserved seventh‑generation Golf Estate for its age, which has been my daily driver for a mix of city, long‑distance and commuting. Now that my commute has shortened I no longer need a diesel car, so this stylish, modern diesel could go to a third owner without losing its features — while unnecessary, failure‑prone systems have been left out. Sturdy 6‑speed manual gearbox (not DSG), no problematic AdBlue system, no needless failing driver‑assist systems. No troublesome Haldex 4WD; has coped well in winters with quality tyres. Adaptive cruise control and a Webasto auxiliary heater add comfort. The car has been more than just transport to me and it shows on the exterior.

The car is a 2017 Golf 2.0 TDI, 6‑speed manual, front‑wheel drive — one of the last without AdBlue. Serviced from new every 15,000 km and never on long‑life 30,000 km intervals. Meticulously maintained by the first owner and by me, so it has stayed in good condition and does not burn oil. Engine seals intact. Turbo, diesel particulate filter and flywheel are original. Around 90,000 km the clutch master/slave cylinder and clutch kit with pressure plate and release bearing were replaced under the factory warranty. The clutch still holds well even with a trailer. Engine oil and filter always changed AT LEAST every 15,000 km; during my ownership often every 10,000 km. Full service history known 100%. I am the second owner — the first owner bought it new from Seinäjoen Käyttöauto in 2017. I bought it in September 2024; the first owner had it for over seven years. Since then it has been my daily car.

The car was rust‑protected when relatively new with Finikorin Täysturva. A Ceramic Pro 9H coating has been applied and the documents are available. The coating was maintained in 2024 at an authorised Ceramic Pro installer and still repels water and dirt well. Easy to keep clean.

Very sensible equipment: the factory did not include a Webasto but an Eberspächer auxiliary heater was installed in October 2022 by the previous owner. Remote start/scheduling and GPS tracking are available via a phone app (ThermoConnect) over the mobile network; there is also a start button under the steering wheel. So there is no physical remote, but you can start the heater remotely even from 500 km away.

Front lights: X‑Vision Genesis 600 controlled via the CAN bus. Relay located in the engine bay relay block.

Summer tyres: good Yokohama BluEarth ES32, 235/40 R18 on Audi Rotor replica alloy wheels. Two completely new front tyres fitted on 30 March 2026; rear tyres have about 5–6 mm tread remaining.

Winter tyres: original VW wheels, powder‑coated black by the previous owner (paint cracks in places but otherwise serviceable). 205/60 R16 Hakkapeliitta 9, approx. 5–6 mm tread. Stored in the dark and cool over summer, not hardened.

A full service has just been completed including all filters and the timing kit + water pump at an authorised dealer. Some service receipts are shown in the photos; genuinely interested buyers can contact me for the remaining images since the listing could not include all (max 24 photos). The car uses a digital service record; the first owner mainly used a local AD‑chain workshop and occasionally the brand dealer. Stamps are present in the service book.

The car is almost 10 years old, so of course there are things to mention — not everything is perfect. At this price you will struggle to find a better example: the car has been kept extremely carefully both in service and paintwork.

- The driver’s seatbelt does not always retract smoothly, but the inspection had no comments; clean documents and inspected January 2026.

- The windscreen has stone chips and is slightly scratched/worn. This is most noticeable in bright sunshine, otherwise visibility is fine.

- A very small scratch on the right side of the rear bumper where a driveway gate touched it and removed some paint; hardly visible on the grey car and easily tidied.

- If you look closely there is early‑stage rust starting at the rear wheel arches, but it could be professionally dealt with neatly.

Good equipment includes: adaptive cruise control, emergency braking assist, reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, automatic climate control, Webasto, heated steering wheel, cooled glovebox, xenon headlights, heated front seats, electrically folding towbar, hill‑start assist (Auto Hold), keyless access (keyless entry at the front doors and keyless start), heated and electrically adjustable/folding door mirrors. Defa block heater and interior heater, plus a CTEK maintainer for the 12 V battery.
