ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged airborne particles to clump together; the resulting larger, heavier particles settle out of the breathing zone quickly.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air that are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes — microbial volatile organic compounds (MVOCs) — can cause serious health issues if they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into the air mainly cause harm via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative air ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When a device produces both ozone and negative ions, its effectiveness is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials such as upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhaled air into the deep lungs (alveoli) and then into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

Ozonation and negative air ionisation are particularly effective in an over-pressurised building.

Ozone and negative air ionisation together form compounds that can efficiently remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and stubborn odours from cooking and smoking.

Ozone and negative ion treatment also remove fine particles and MVOCs/VOCs from the air.

Ozonation and negative ionisation produce a pleasant, easy-to-breathe indoor air that is good for people to be in.

Ozone and negative ionisation together deliver very clean indoor air also for workspaces.

Indoor ozonation cannot be performed while people are present because ozone is produced in large quantities to destroy microbial spores. High ozone concentrations combined with negative ionisation achieve good cleaning results even for porous materials. After indoor cleaning, the ozonated space is ventilated before occupants return.
