Defects and other observations

During a short test drive we observed the following:

  • The windscreen is cracked and will require replacement for the next MOT. Replacement windscreen fitted approx. €300.

  • A knocking noise is heard from the front over bumps; suspected that the exhaust flex mounts are failing and the pipe moves, or a joint/control arm is knocking. I believe the noise comes from the front left.

  • One of the number plate lights is blown.

  • Service interval overdue according to the trip computer.

  • The remote for the second key does not work (battery not replaced / fault not investigated).


The car has not undergone a technical inspection by us and not all equipment has been tested. There may be hidden faults that we did not notice during the test drive. You may view the car in more detail before placing a binding bid. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
