On a short test drive we made the following observations:

  • - Vibrates at 40–60 km/h; engaging four-wheel drive helps a little.

    ->Front drive axles need replacement. Cardan (universal) joints are rusty.

  • Steering somewhat stiff.

    ->Steering rack is sticking/seized.

  • Clutch overhaul required.

    ->Clutch worn out.

  • Driver's door does not open with the remote.

    ->Door lock faulty.

  • Engine warning light; according to the previous owner this relates to the catalytic converter, although it appears functional and codes clear after a longer reset.

    ->Fault memory shows a code for reduced catalytic converter efficiency. Not currently active. Using higher-octane fuel may help. Possible catalytic converter replacement at a later stage.


The car has not undergone a technical condition inspection by us and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. There may be latent faults that we did not detect during the test drive.
