Defects and other observations

Before listing the car for sale we carried out a test drive and condition assessment and made the following observations:

  • The car has engine damage. -> Workshop diagnosis: Valve cover opened; the timing chain may have been rubbing/worn.

    No visible fault was found in the chain, but there was wear and some metal in the engine oil. The camshafts show corrosion and it is clear there have been problems with the oil circulation.

  • There may also be other issues that are not known.
