Imagine stepping inside this enchanting glass igloo, surrounded by the vast and unbelievably beautiful nature of Lapland. The northern lights dance across the sky in green and red, and the starry sky opens up clear and limitless before you. In autumn the igloo offers the same 360° stunning view as the colours change. Lapland dresses in the brilliant palette of autumn – forests fill with bright reds, golds and oranges, and the fell slopes glow as if on fire. The glass Arctic Light House igloo was also featured in the 2019 Big Brother house, where it saw heavy use. In the BB house a sauna stove was installed instead of a barbecue unit, and it served as the contestants' atmospheric outdoor sauna.

Easy and straightforward assembly

Assembling the Arctic Light House igloo is not difficult. Solid Mammutti logs are stacked in order with dovetail joints. The 135 x 218 mm logs form a sturdy base for the igloo. The 6 mm toughened glass panes are placed into sturdy aluminium frames, which are screwed together. Screw positions are clear and the glass cannot be fitted the wrong way. Compared with a traditional kota, the igloo is quick to assemble. With the included instructions the work proceeds smoothly.

Laying the foundations is the customer's responsibility, but to help you you can order a floor package at an extra charge. Instructions and permit drawings are available on request in advance so you can start building the Arctic Light House as soon as the delivery arrives. You will need a drill, screwdriver, hammer, saw, tape measure, pencil and calm enthusiasm for the assembly. Always read the instructions carefully before starting any work phase.

Personalise your igloo – Furnish it in your own style!

You can choose the glass tint for the Arctic Light House igloo yourself. The glass is available in three tints. Clear glass is always a safe choice, but the bolder grey and bronze tints give the igloo a personalised touch. The igloo is delivered unfurnished, as many owners want to customise their igloo. We do, however, offer a wide selection of northern-style furnishings. Buy kelo benches for seating and line them with reindeer hides. Equip your igloo with one of our quality kitchenette units or fireplaces.

Order to your home yard or collect on site

Our robust Arctic Light House igloo is not a small package, it has size and weight. Therefore we deliver the complete unit directly to your home yard. You may of course also collect the package yourself on site, in which case the parts are well packed for your trailer.

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka someone is always on call. We offer customer support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or as is now commonly said, 24/7. Few build at night, but if anything puzzles you during assembly we can respond then too. The assembly pack includes instructions and you can also find assembly videos on YouTube to help visualise the work. You won't be left alone with your garden building – we're here to support you!
