Ford Escort 1300 GT, new to Finland in 1968.


The car has a 1600 Kent engine with:

- 300-degree cam

- flat-top pistons

- upgraded rocker gear

- replaced sheet-metal exhaust manifold and a 2" (51 mm) exhaust system

- distributorless ignition

- electric fan operated by a switch

- Weber 32/36 DGV


The Escort also has:

- shortened gear ratios

- quicker steering

- RS steering wheel

- Cibie Oscar auxiliary lights with white covers


The Ford is very lively to drive and turns heads. The car has been checked and tuned by a professional. The carburettors have been serviced with new jets and seals, etc.
