The car was inspected in April 2026 with no repair recommendations.

It has been stationary since autumn 2025. At that time a tapping noise from the engine was noticed when the engine was warm. Oil and filter were changed then. No bearing metal was visible in the old oil or in the opened filter. The cause of the noise has not been located.

Taken out of cold storage this spring. New battery fitted, driven approx. 200 km and inspected.


Well-equipped X3.

Engine bearings were replaced at approx. 240,000 km.

A transmission repair was also carried out at the same time.
