When we began designing log saunas, we aimed to capture the authentic Finnish sauna atmosphere and make bathing easy. We want to offer saunas for different uses and the Traditional log sauna is especially for those who want a gentle garden sauna steam at a lower cost. The Traditional log sauna is uncomplicated — it has good basic benches and an excellent Harvia stove with a glass door. From the sauna you step straight onto a small terrace to cool off, and when your toes start to feel the chill, turn round and return to the benches waiting just inside the door. Just add more wood to the fire, listen to the hypnotic hum of the wood-burning stove and enjoy the great steam. There is always something magical about bathing in the yard. Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s quality saunas are built spaciously with compact use of space. The Traditional log sauna with front terrace is just the right size for 3–5 people. The heart of the small log sauna is the Harvia M3 stove with glass door. The stove’s glass creates atmospheric firelight in the sauna, especially in autumn and winter. Add an integrated water tank to the stove to get hot washing water for bathers, so you don’t need a shower for basic washing. The highest point of the sauna is almost 2.5 metres and the sauna area is just over four square metres. A sturdy and safe chimney kit is naturally included. Remember always to use fire carefully and responsibly.

As an extra, the Sauna-Seppo wash-water filter removes dirty wash water worries, because water run through the filter can be released back to nature without building control issuing environmental fines.

Built honestly from logs

We manufacture the Traditional log sauna with front terrace from sturdy Finnish 45 x 145 mm spruce logs. Wood is always a warm and ecological choice. The sauna has two-tier spruce benches and two windows bring light into the sauna, one of which is in the door. The windows are high-quality aluminium-framed thermal glass windows that keep the heat inside.

Each foundation kit is carefully designed, precisely measured and manufactured to suit each sauna model, ensuring a successful and smooth installation. We make the foundation kits from high-quality pressure-treated timber known for its durability and long life. Pressure-treated wood protects the foundations from moisture, rot and pests, ensuring the sauna stands firmly and safely for decades. Choosing a ready foundation kit saves time, effort and headaches!

Soon you can start assembling!

We are happy to deliver the whole package to your home yard and you do not need a lifting device if you choose delivery by Hiab truck. The package includes eaves boards, a complete black roll roofing set, felt nails, a lockable exterior door with fittings and also terrace floorboards. The sauna comes with instructions and building-permit drawings which you can request in advance so that when delivery arrives you can immediately start assembling your new fine garden sauna to bathing condition. You will need a drill, screwdriver, hammer, saw, tape measure, pencil and a calm enthusiasm for assembly. Always read the instructions carefully before each work phase.
