Just MOT-tested on 10 April 2026 without remarks — Transit ready for its next keeper!

For the inspection the left rear leaf spring, front right lower ball joint and both rear brake cylinders were just fitted. In approx. 2 years / 12,000 km that I’ve owned it, at least the following have been done:

• A/C compressor + recharge service

• injector sealing washers

• rear side door cable + handle mechanism

• oil + filter changed a couple of times; not many kilometres since the last change

• complete diesel fuel filter housing + filter (Ford genuine)

• Eberspächer serviced + water pump fitted

• front dog‑bone links; right outer track‑rod end

• new heated windscreen (€750)

• CRDi pump pressure‑regulating valve

Some minor cosmetic fixes on the surface + for the MOT: rear cylinders, left rear leaf spring + front right lower ball joint.

You’ll notice the vehicle has been looked after; repairs were always done "for myself". With the family growing, three seats are no longer sufficient, so the Transit is going to someone else who will use it properly.

I find the vehicle very good to drive and the MOT is valid until 19 April 2027.

Tyre details:

• Winter tyres: Good condition tyres on their own rims. Tread measured at several points: commonly 7–8 mm (varying between 7–9 mm).

• Summer tyres: Rear tread 5–6 mm.

  • Front tread 2–3 mm, but the tyres are more worn at the edges.

  • Note: Front tyres are approaching replacement (near the legal limit), and I recommend replacing them soon.

The vehicle is fairly old and a real "work machine", so the mileage shows. This hasn’t been prepared as a show vehicle; the focus has been on ensuring the mechanics work and the journey continues.

Although the odometer shows 326,000 km, that is only the running‑in for these engines — well maintained they can easily reach 600–800,000 km, and I know a few such examples. There are some rust marks in places, as the pictures show, and other signs of use. Please also note a couple of dents on the upper part of the passenger side.
