A tidy and spacious, economical petrol-saving Hyundai i30 Wagon 1.4 CVVT 5MT ISG Air for its age, in a nice metallic blue!


- MOT valid until August, a well-kept family car or affordable second car; similar cars sell for €4,000–5,000 depending on condition. Small repair needed: the rear of the driver’s side has a minor mark from a hit but it’s barely noticeable — paint can be applied. Otherwise clean inside and out, runs well; brakes were renewed about two years ago at roughly 200,000 km and the air conditioning blows cold. Many other wear parts have been replaced — see photos, receipts and the service booklet. The car has a good service book that’s been kept up to date until summer 2024; last service at 211,000 km.

So a service is now due on time grounds. The car has fairly new winter tyres used for one winter, and for summer there are two very good and two weaker tyres. As a bonus there are spare replacement bulbs in the glovebox if needed — good luck to the bidder in advance :)

Defects and other observations

On a short test drive we noted the following
-Clutch works well and the engine pulls fine; a slight side noise/ticking is audible especially when cold — possibly a valve lifter — but the engine pulls well, the air conditioning works and the brakes are OK; no knocking or shaking. These Korean cars can tick and the noise may disappear after an oil change. :)

-Driver's electric window sometimes misbehaves; I think replacing the switch will fix it.
-Service is becoming due; last service was done in summer 2024 at 211,000 km.

-Fairly new winter studded tyres used for one winter are fitted, and the summer tyres still have legal tread: two are very good and two are near the wear limit.

The car has not been subjected to a technical inspection by us and not all equipment has been tested. There may be hidden faults we did not notice during the test drive. You are welcome to inspect the car more closely before making a binding bid. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
