This well-equipped and somewhat rarer Opel is now available! The car was traded in to us directly from daily use by a private owner.

The car has been test-driven and seems to operate normally on the road. The overall appearance is tidy and the body is in good condition for its age. With thorough paint polishing the car can be made very showy and glossy. Overall a neat and decent car — with minor repairs it will be an excellent everyday car for the next owner.


Points to note:

  • Driver-side keyless door handle works intermittently

  • The tailgate does not open from the exterior button (micro switch needs replacing), but opens with the key and the driver's door button

  • The blind spot warning does not work properly

  • The winter tyres are worn and need replacing. One winter tyre has a 'flat spot' causing vibration while driving (no vibration with summer tyres)


MOT: FAILED — allowed to be driven until 31 May 2026

The inspection revealed that both rear springs are broken and must be replaced. An oil leak was also noted, which has not been investigated further.

Defects and other observations

A long test drive was carried out during which the car was found to operate normally. The engine starts without problems and the running note sounds normal. All controls were tested and the car is OK to drive. The car has a few items that do not work normally:


The driver's keyless door-handle locking does not work properly. The tailgate does not open from the door button but opens with the key and the driver's door release button. The blind spot warning does not work correctly and the car flags this.

The winter wheels are very worn and must be replaced. One tyre has a flat spot, which causes severe vibration when driving. No problem when driving on the summer tyres.

The car went through an MOT before it was traded in to us. Both rear springs are broken and need replacing. The MOT also noted an oil leak that cannot be seen by eye.
