  • Engine damage. Basic 220d, not a hybrid model. Faulty injectors and the piston in the fourth cylinder has melted. Has been idling, but when the accelerator is pressed the engine makes clicking and knocking noises. The car will not move under its own power because, among other things, the injectors are not in place. Has been at the repair shop yard since early January 2026. Brake discs have developed surface rust.
