A wise engineer — perhaps even a chartered engineer — once ordered a VW Touran on lease so the whole family would fit. The 7‑seat petrol automatic was exactly what Sirpa had insisted on. So it was a big disappointment when the Touran was traded in 2011, just before an Easter trip, for a smaller, soulless estate. There was no room for the son to enjoy the sauna. The next owner bought the car used and drove it along the main roads until 2014, when they chose an Audi in Keminmaa. The car changed hands again and was found by Taisto, who found it perhaps a bit too spacious but, being practical, liked to load everything at once. When the pandemic cancelled a Canary Islands holiday and Finnair refunded the trip, Taisto used the money to trade the car in April 2020 at the same dealership where it had been bought six years earlier. Four weeks later the Touran moved on to another owner, who drove it until February 2026. The space was needed and the car was traded in to Aine in Kemi.


In short: this VW Touran came in part‑exchange from the 4th owner and failed the MOT on emissions and brakes. Fault finding showed misfires on cylinders 1 and 4; on closer inspection cylinder 4 has poor compression and valve leakage. Cylinders 2 and 3 have leakage into the oil sump.


There is therefore quite a lot to list on the sales details, although the service history is decent and the body is good for its age for a Volkswagen. Please study the photos carefully before bidding.
