Fault list.


The car vibrates/shakes strongly under harder acceleration and also during steady driving at road/motorway speeds.

Partly caused by the original wheels, two of which are warped, but it also vibrates with perfectly straight summer wheels. The propshaft centre bearing and drive shafts have been checked.


The engine cooling fans stay running at full power in emergency mode for 5–10 minutes after switching the car off. Shows fault code P0481
Cooling fan control 2 — electrical fault, no signal/data exchange.
Currently the fault is bypassed by removing the fuse to the fan control unit.


The inner rear light on the driver's side is broken. (LEDs have failed)


Occasionally triggers the engine oil level sensor warning light. Sensor needs replacing.


The electric tailgate open button does not work, but it opens with the key fob and the driver's door button. It also does not close using the motors.


Most recently the bonnet release cable has snapped, so the bonnet cannot currently be opened.
