Defects and other observations

On a short test drive we made the following observations:


- I could not get the roof to open (the exact fault in the roof opening mechanism was not determined).


- When the engine is cold and the accelerator is pressed there is a noise from the engine (our service at Wetteri Auto Oy Lempäälä had a quick look and the noise does not seem to come from the timing chain). It could possibly be BMW's Vanos (variable camshaft control), but we cannot say this for certain.


- No warning lights are on and the car's power seemed normal during the test drive. The car was driven about just over 90 km to the dealership without problems. The timing chain was replaced in October 2025 (see service receipt images).


- The summer tyres are no longer in good condition and should definitely be replaced!


- I could not test the air conditioning because of the freezing temperatures.


NOTE! The summer tyres that belong to the car do not fit inside the vehicle, so please arrange separate transport for them.
