What is the Mexican Bulldog cocktail?

The Mexican Bulldog is made simply by inverting a Corona beer bottle into a Frozen Margarita glass. Too often Margaritas are made from artificially sweetened mixes, producing a sticky, overly sweet mess. Our recipe uses only fresh, excellent ingredients to elevate the traditional Margarita. The result looks like a beach cocktail and tastes like one made by a Michelin-starred bartender. Corona is the traditional beer choice for the Mexican Bulldog, but any lager works well.

Ingredients required:

• 6 cl tequila

• 2 cl lime juice

• 2 cl Cointreau

• 2 cl syrup

• Crushed ice

• Corona beer (or other lager)

• Salt

  
  

  Preparation:

1. Dip the rim of the Margarita glass first in lime juice and then rub it with salt to create a salt rim.

2. Blend all ingredients except the beer in a blender until the mixture is like a smooth "smoothie". Pour into the glass.

3. Attach the bottle holder to the rim of the glass securely. Open the beer and cover the bottle opening with your thumb while quickly turning the bottle upright into the holder.

4. Drink through a straw, for example with friends. A large straw is recommended. You can control the beer flow by slightly lifting the bottle if needed.
