The item is sold as electrical equipment scrap based on the accompanying photographs. Other materials that may appear in the photos are not included in the lot. The electrical equipment scrap must be inspected by an expert before any possible use.

The spectrophotometer has been used to measure reflectance values and colours of camouflage patterns and other textiles and accessories.

The unit was purchased in 2008.

The unit was operational before decommissioning, but has been unstable in use and is assumed to be at the end of its service life. Calibration and annual maintenance have not been performed and should be done before any possible reuse.

The instrument has been in continuous use, although usage has varied greatly depending on the fabrics tested.

The unit does not contain hazardous substances, but it is sensitive electronic equipment.

The sale includes: the instrument itself, a sampling head, the instrument manual, cables and supplied tools. Does not include a computer.

The sale includes the accessory Diffuse Reflectance Accessory DRA-2500.

The purchased item must be removed in its entirety.

In Finland, Agilent handles servicing and spare parts.

The purchased lot must be collected by the buyer from its current location by 27 February 2026 at 15:00. The collector must be a Finnish citizen and collection must be arranged with the contact person at least 5 working days in advance.

If the buyer uses vessels, machines, equipment or other material bought from the online auction, this is done at the buyer's own risk. The buyer's liability for damage begins at transfer of the material. The Defence Forces or Millog Oy are not responsible for any occupational safety deficiencies or defects; suitability or acceptance for traffic; or compliance with occupational safety legislation (for example Machine Decree 400/2008 and Work Equipment Use Decree 403/2008), and no claims can be made to the Defence Forces or Millog Oy for measures or costs related to bringing the sold material into compliance with traffic, occupational safety or other applicable legislation.

The seller or the seller's representative does not undertake to provide the buyer with any further documentation or technical advice later.

The auctioned material is owned by the Defence Forces and therefore the seller is the Defence Forces. The sale is carried out by Millog Oy acting as the seller's representative. The purchase price does not include deductible value added tax and VAT will not be added to the purchase price. If the lot is not collected by the stated time, the material reverts to the ownership of the Defence Forces and the paid price remains with the Defence Forces to cover costs.
