A generally capable Avensis with some minor issues for sale. There is a good service history and the winter tyres have plenty of tread (some studs missing in places). On the test drive the car was found to be overall a very pleasant and functional vehicle (the engine pulled as it should and ran smoothly and steadily), but the following observations were made:


- Failed the inspection due to play in the right lower control arm joint; a post-it was also left noting slight play at the inner end of the right tie rod.

- Minor knocking from the front end

- Webasto (auxiliary heater) does not start

- Driver’s seat heater does not work

- Reversing sensor does not work (constantly beeps)
