349 jewellery items: gold, white gold, silver, Virolahti

Customs is selling the jewellery by customs auction under Article 198 of the Customs Code (EU 952/2013) and section 80 of the Customs Act (302/2016).

For sale are a total of 349 different pieces of jewellery. Materials include gold, white gold, gold-plated silver, silver and steel. A detailed breakdown of the jewellery is available in the attachments.

The jewellery was appraised in 2012 by the jeweller Kello ja Kulta Pakkanen. The appraisal is available in the attachments.

There are 42 gold items with a weight including packaging of 277.9 grams.

There are 37 white-gold items with a weight including packaging of 285.9 grams.

There are 9 gold/white-gold items with a weight including packaging of 91.4 grams.

One steel pendant, weight including packaging 21.2 grams.

There are 29 gold-plated silver items with a weight including packaging of 284.3 grams.

There are 213 silver items with a weight including packaging of 1,455 grams.

The Customs is not responsible for the accuracy of the weighing.

The minimum acceptable auction price for the jewellery is €1,890.64 + VAT 25.5% (total €2,372.75).

The Customs is not responsible for the authenticity, materials or defects of the jewellery, nor for the quality, condition or suitability for the original intended use. The jewellery is sold only as one lot, i.e. all at once. The jewellery is sold in all respects as they are at the time of sale.

Items bought at a customs auction cannot be exchanged or returned.

The auction price includes value added tax of 25.5%.

The jewellery must be collected from Vaalimaa Customs or another separately agreed location by 13 March 2026 at 16:15. If the jewellery is not collected by the deadline, ownership of the goods will revert to the State and the paid auction price will not be refunded.
