Defects and other observations

  • Webasto fitted, but reliability cannot be guaranteed

  • Emits a lot of smoke

  • Hard to start

  • Gearbox jerks and knocks

  • Auxiliary long-range lights do not work

  • A new gearbox was ordered for the car but would not work with the vehicle. The old gearbox jerked, the new one does the same. An attempt was made to fit the old control unit — without success.

  • DPF is blocked; it has been cleaned but still does not work. This has triggered the engine warning light.
