Defects and other observations

During a short test drive we made the following observations:

  • The car lit the oil pressure warning light after which the engine started making a tapping noise. The oil‑pressure light did not reappear but the ticking/knocking noise remained. The car has not been driven since the tow and has only been started once briefly for listing at auction.

  • The car's battery is very poor; it only starts with jump-start assistance and is likely dead. Because of this, several different warning lights may illuminate briefly due to low voltage.

  • A knocking sound is heard from the engine.

  • All available information about the vehicle's current condition is recorded in the listing; no further investigations have been carried out.


The car has not undergone a technical inspection by us and the operation of all equipment has not been tested. There may be hidden faults that we did not notice during the test drive. You may inspect the vehicle more closely before making a binding bid. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
