Christmas arrived early — for sale a stylish and characterful New Beetle, well preserved both inside and out. Driven only 163,000 km and equipped with a reliable 1.6-litre petrol engine and a manual gearbox.

This is a Finnish car with a full service book and two keys. The car passed inspection in Oct 2025 and it came to us as the previous owner’s second car rather than daily transport. Comfort features include heated seats, air conditioning, electric windows, an engine heater and a CD player. Included are two good sets of tyres on alloy wheels, the winter set being studded.

The Beetle offers driving pleasure in a distinctive package. You can cruise through summer and winter with ease, style and practicality. The car was recently serviced last October, and the timing belt was last serviced in Mar 2023 — about 30,000 km ago. It’s an excellent option for everyday driving. The only issues we noticed are a crack in the windscreen and an orange engine warning light illuminated (not diagnosed). Naturally there is some minor age-related patina on the body, but the car is still very tidy for its age.
