Engine misfires and ignition cuts. Runs well on LPG; problems occur on petrol. Engine warning light is on and the car sometimes hesitates. Summer tyres rub in the arches over bumps.

Below is the latest workshop report on the matter:

Kamux LPG Passat does not run properly; the gearbox is slipping. Vehicle came from Autogear. A test drive was attempted but the car was completely powerless even after clearing fault codes. Fault codes P0303 and P305A — ignition cuts, cyl. 3. Spark plugs renewed; the plugs, especially in cyl. 3, were very fouled — no help. Coil for cyl. 3 renewed — no help. Measured blow-by/leakage; the gauge intermittently showed up to 60% leakage. On camera the valves appear carboned and exhaust-side valves show black marks on the seat surface, likely leaking valves causing ignition cuts. Additionally an oil leak from the right side of the engine; not investigated. The car could not be reversed at all, gear change did not engage. Intake ports walnut-blasted clean. Running improved significantly, but ignition cuts still occur. Now mainly cyl. 1 and 4; the car has been used with LPG refuelling. Went on a test drive — after about 10 km the car began to run well. Used without the gas equipment on petrol alone; when hot it runs very well. The next day the test was started cold again. On petrol when cold there are small hesitations, gathering ignition cuts in cyl. 1. When switched to gas operation it runs very well and there were no problems on the test drive. So there is something on the petrol side, likely the injectors since no fault codes are present. A good dose of fuel-system cleaner was put in the petrol tank to improve injector function. The car still has an engine oil leak that has not yet been investigated at all. Front crankshaft seal + crack in the oil sump. Both renewed — no leaks observed! The gearbox began to operate on its own during the test drive.

So the current situation is that the engine warning light is on. On cold petrol it runs poorly and hesitates at times. On gas it ran well. A Passat with good equipment and generally tidy bodywork.
