Additional information

A solid and reliable A4 for sale. Serviced regularly. Selling because my studies are ending at the beginning of 2027 and I no longer need such a new car.


In 2025, the shock absorbers/springs and brakes were replaced on all four corners. The passenger-side brake cylinder was replaced at the beginning of 2026. The oil was changed in summer 2026. During my ownership, it has been changed every 10,000–15,000 km. The air filter and cabin air filter were also replaced at the same time. The engine was replaced by the first owner at 94,000 km due to oil consumption. I have found no further information about this apart from the entry in the service book. I have never needed to add oil, so I believe it was replaced. No other fluids have needed topping up, apart from screenwash from time to time.


Drawbacks

Minor surface rust along the lower edges of the wheel arches. It can still be easily dealt with if you have somewhere to work on it.

Slight vibration under heavy braking. (I have not investigated this as it does not affect my driving.)

The brake light at the top of the rear window occasionally causes a warning. A contact fault.


Both sets of tyres come with alloy wheels. The summer tyres were bought at the beginning of summer and the winter tyres in October 2026. (The winter tyres are not currently fitted.)

Defects and other observations
