A Skoda snowman with a sound body. I intended to drive this one until the end of its life, until the timing system gave up prematurely. Still a basis for a fully working vehicle or a parts car.

Registered as a van by the importer, with taxes of approximately €230 per year.

The chassis and body are solid. Bilstein shock absorbers with SacHS springs and other OEM parts were fitted at the front this summer. The rear brakes are fairly new, and the gearbox oil was also changed recently.

During my ownership, among other things, a new turbocharger, air-conditioning condenser and thermostat were fitted, and the car was serviced regularly.

Well looked after, but the body has marks from driving on forest roads in the form of stone chips. Otherwise, there are no major body issues beyond surface rust.

The car is sold with Hankook Winter i*Pike RS2 studded winter tyres, marked 2021/22, with plenty of tread and reasonably good studs remaining.

For an additional price, it can also be agreed with the buyer that the new Hankook Ventus Prime 4 tyres bought this summer, on the Skoda's original alloy wheels, and hard plastic guards resembling cigarette arches for the front grilles for winter use are included.

Known defects:

• Stone chips in the windscreen and body

• Broken anti-roll bar link at the left rear

• Engine damage caused by the timing system; the extent of repairs required has not been investigated
