Surplus Transporter for someone in need!

Drives well and is reasonably tidy, with various signs of use and dents. This is not a show vehicle, but an honest and reliable workhorse.

Does not consume or mix fluids. The clutch works and the gears engage.

The floor and sills were welded and repaired for the last inspection. There is, of course, some rust here and there.

Within the last 20,000 km, the starter motor, clutch release bearing, engine oil and gearbox oil have been replaced.

No proper service book, but there are some receipts and other papers.

Pros:

  • Cruise control

  • Webasto heater with remote control and engine block heater

  • Air conditioning

  • Auxiliary lights

  • Remote central locking

  • Bluetooth stereo

  • Armrests for the driver

  • Tow bar

  • Two good sets of wheels and tyres

  • Three keys

To keep things balanced:

  • Some glow plugs are not working; in colder weather it needs the Webasto heater, after which it starts well.

  • Auxiliary belt squeals when cold; a new one is included

  • Air conditioning needs recharging; currently blows warm air

  • A small amount of oil drips from somewhere; not a major leak

It works perfectly well as it is; I do not have the skills or facilities to fix these minor faults.
