For sale for repair: four-wheel-drive Transporter as shown in the pictures. This is a Transporter with a CFCA engine.

This vehicle suffers from the typical fault of this engine type.

Aluminium breaking away from the EGR cooler has caused damage, and oil consumption is high.

Requires an engine rebuild. The vehicle can be driven.
The vehicle’s paintwork was inspected in autumn 2025, when the typical rust spots on Transporters were repaired and covered with stone-chip protection film.

Good summer tyres; of the winter tyres, two are good and two are fair.

Equipment:

  • Bixenon headlights with LED daytime running lights

  • Semi-automatic climate control

  • Fuel-powered auxiliary heater with timer

  • ESP stability control

  • Cruise control

  • Tow bar

  • Rain sensor

  • Bluetooth

  • Rear parking sensors

  • Engine block heater

  • Two batteries

Vehicle must be collected within 7 days of the auction ending unless otherwise agreed – Huutokaupat.com.

Defects and other observations

An official oil consumption test and fault diagnosis have been carried out (odometer reading: 177,817–178,425). Fault diagnosis from the workshop: CFCA engine type fault: the EGR oil cooler wears from the inside, allowing metal powder to enter the engine oil -> cylinder liners and piston rings wear, and bearing surfaces are damaged.

The vehicle starts and can be driven. The oil consumption test was carried out during normal driving. Test result: 1.5 litres/608 km.
