Defects and other observations
During the test drive, we made the following observations:
Workshop diagnosis: The car has a piston ring problem typical of this engine, and the valve stem seals in cylinder three are worn out. When viewed with a camera, oil drops were visible on top of the piston in cylinder three, and all spark plugs were covered in oily carbon deposits.
One headlamp does not work
Two summer tyres are down to the cords and two are OK
Studded winter tyres fitted and still in good condition
Drives well. No vibration and the clutch does not slip
Minor cosmetic marks, but no major damage to the body
