Mercedes-Benz C, 2008, Oulu

Now up for auction: a true everyday luxury cruiser! This W204 C-Class Mercedes offers genuine three-pointed-star comfort with sensible mileage. It is in smart condition for its age and drives exactly as pleasantly as a Mercedes should.

The engine runs smoothly and the car works very well. The 1.8-litre Kompressor engine provides plenty of torque and brisk performance while keeping fuel consumption under control.

Two good sets of tyres and a long MOT! (valid until 14 January 2027)

The biggest and most feared issue with these models is corrosion of the rear subframe. The rear subframe on this car has been replaced under warranty!

The underside is therefore sound in this respect too, saving you from a typical repair costing thousands of euros.

Only 243,000 km on the clock, meaning this drivetrain still has plenty of mileage ahead of it.

A small amount of play can be felt in the car’s drivetrain while driving. The likely culprit is the propshaft flex disc, a typical wear item on these cars (the part itself costs only a few tens of euros). No more precise diagnosis has been carried out at a workshop, so this could be an affordable evening job for a DIY enthusiast or an easy repair at a garage.

Don’t let this example slip through your fingers—bid with confidence!
