My 95-year-old father stopped driving, so his VW Polo became surplus to requirements.

A very well-maintained example in excellent condition.

Inspected on 16 October 2026 and has always passed inspection first time.

Gearbox oil changed at 292,533 km and TEC4 STIFF AND GEARS additive added; timing belt service carried out at 249,530 km.

Last serviced at 311,174 km. My father recorded all fuel consumption for 70,000 km: on longer journeys 3.7–4.2 l/100 km, with an average overall consumption of 4.5 l/100 km.

Does not smoke; emissions 119 g/km.

Total annual taxes €480.

Bodywork is clean and in good condition, with only minor marks and no rust.

A new, powerful battery has been fitted, and it starts immediately even in freezing weather without preheating.

Engine block heater and good friction tyres fitted; good studded tyres also included.

A reliable everyday car for someone for many years to come.

Removed from traffic use: deregistered as damaged 19 January 2020 – 9 November 2020

Total percentage of replaced parts: 6.5%

Front bonnet 1%

Front bumper and grille 1.5%

Radiator 2%

Front lights 2%

Defects and other observations

The car has had no faults during the 7 years it was owned by my father. It was well serviced because it was important that the car always worked perfectly. A 95-year-old needs a reliable car; he has now stopped driving for health reasons.
