Defects

There is rust on the rear wheel arches, a dent in the front right corner, and scratches and other marks from age and use on the body. The front seats show wear. The photographs provide more information about the exterior condition.

When accelerating gently, vibration lasting approximately 1–3 seconds occasionally occurs during gear changes. No similar vibration was noticed during the test drive under harder acceleration. The cause of the fault has not been investigated.

Otherwise, the Mercedes drove as expected during the test drive and the car has been inspected.

Who would this suit?

Perhaps someone who values a large four-wheel-drive car, a powerful diesel engine and comfortable travelling, but is not put off by working on an older car and its signs of use.

This would also be an interesting option for an enthusiast or a DIY mechanic.
