We received this well-used Wille 855 DW with a Valmet engine in part exchange.

On arrival, the engine oil and filter, fuel filters and air filters were replaced. The battery and some battery cables were also replaced.

The machine starts and runs.

We have not examined the machine any further, so there are presumably hidden defects / functions we have not detected.

The best impression of the machine can be gained by coming to inspect and test-drive it.

Observed defects / shortcomings include at least the following:

  • A warning light is illuminated on the instrument panel

  • The tyres have seen better days

  • The rear hydraulic connectors are rusty

  • Some work lights do not work

  • The grease lubrication system's operation is unclear

  • The engine compartment is oily and would at least require a thorough wash.

  • There is some fault with the slow / fast range selector

  • The meter reading cannot be verified, although the meter shows 7,008 hours.
