Sold for repair. See: Defects and other observations.

For sale: a 1997 KABE Safir caravan. KABE is known for high-quality, well-equipped caravans, and this caravan has a practical layout for both holidays and longer stays.

At the rear of the caravan are bunk beds and, next to them, a separate single bed, providing comfortable sleeping space for several people. The kitchen is in the centre, while the front has a spacious U-shaped seating area offering plenty of living space and converting into a bed when needed. The caravan is in tidy condition for its age.

The caravan has had only two previous owners.

The caravan has been checked with a moisture meter. The readings increased around the wheel arches.

The rear ceiling lining has come away from the adhesive and is hanging down. This requires repair or reattachment.

The caravan's appliances have not been tested, so their operation is unknown.

The original refrigerator has been replaced with a standard mains-powered model.

The gas system was pressure-tested in October 2026.

An interesting KABE for its age, with a good and versatile layout and plenty of sleeping and living space. Buyers should assess the caravan themselves and bring it into the condition they prefer for the next season.

Defects and other observations

Appliances have not been tested
Rear ceiling has come away from the adhesive
Mattress for one bed is missing
Wardrobe door detached
Age-related wear and signs of use

The caravan has not undergone a technical inspection, and the operation of all equipment has not been tested. The caravan can be viewed at our premises in Kempele.
